Walk of shame...

I'm sure the title intrigued you...I love this uber comfy shirt/dress from Gap. It reminds me of a baggy tee-shirt one might steal to sulk home on the ever classy walk of shame. In reality, it's really just a fun baggy shirt dress, but hey nothing wrong with a funny story to go along. It's hard to pair super casual items like this and still have a stylish look, so I thought this nice lightweight scarf would pair well and not take too much attention from the main element. There's truly no better shoe to go with a super cozy outfit like this than a classic chuck taylor! All in all, I love this easy breezy look and I'm thankful I'm wearing it with full intention instead of my previous scenario...

Birthday Shenanigans

Well folks, I have now officially entered my late twenties. I had such an amazing day and weekend filled with friends and family. Friday I got to go shopping with my mom, which had been a while, so naturally I went a little overboard! You'll be seeing some cute items pop up from this shopping trip. I got these awesome boyfriend jeans for 40% off at the Loft! The family and I had dinner at Matt the Millers in Carmel and enjoyed some delicious (complimentary) carrot cake! Nom nom. The look for today's post is from Saturday, when Aaron and I spent the day preparing for my party. It wasn't very warm (shocker) so I opted for super cozy and errand running worthy pieces.

I am so blessed to have the people in my life that I do and they are truly what made this such an amazing birthday!

Jump around

I had a wonderful weekend filled with friends and relaxation. This Indiana weather is really perfect for my super cute jumpsuit! I love how comfy and loose fitting it is. I love jumpsuits and rompers, they are a fantastic decade trend. The beauty of a trendy item is that you can find them all over in as many different styles as you can imagine. I found a couple cute options for you all, check it out in the post!

What's your favorite spring trend?

Casually yours..

With these rising and falling temps throughout the day it's nice to have a bunch of easy light layering pieces. I love this casual look from the sneaks to the loose fitting sweater. I remember in college this time of year, I would leave in sweats all bundled then change around lunch for the warm temps then throw on layers for the night time! It's a crazy season, but I love it, because after all it's warm relief from the bitter Indiana winters and I get to wear more than one outfit a day! Then again, I'm kind of a weirdo like that.

Beanies, specs, and foodie love

Kind of late to keep you all posted on my weekend festivities, but oh well! Aaron and I decided to stay in this past weekend as we really did it up at Sullivan's last weekend. We opted for some snuggling and a fancy cheese plate paired with some wine. Aaron's brother and fiance got us this cool slate cutting board that doubles as a natural chalkboard with quartz "chalk". I thought it'd be perfect to display our Fresh Market findings! Paired with (admittedly cheap) wine, it was the perfect end to a great weekend. My outfit was super casual and easy to wear while roaming the market! I love this comfy striped dress from Old Navy and anything paired with my beanie is going to be cozy, plus I really fit in roaming Broad Ripple. #hipster

Double Take

Remember this fur vest? If not, scroll down by one post! I wanted to show the diversity of this vest by putting together a totally different look with it. I love pairing funky items in a comfortable way. This vest works wonderfully with these boyfriend jeans. I still wanted to have the look be fancy, so these pointed toe Kate Spade heels do the trick! This simple look is just perfect for a night with the gals sipping some wine.

How do you mix up the same item?

Watercolor and leather

Well folks, I got another tote, so naturally I had to wear almost all the pieces in one outfit and post about it. I was underwhelmed by a few of the items, but it was all made right when I saw this amazing clutch/bag/ipad case. Whatever it is it's beautiful. I thought it best to pair it with this super comfy top and simple necklace to highlight the beautiful colors in this clutch. Granted, this top is not ideal for the "girls" if you know what I mean, but it's super cozy and the leather sleeves really add a nice detail. You know me, I'll prob. throw on a scarf and it'll be all better. Thanks for bearing with my random rants, my brain is a bit scattered.
