Popping collars

Ps. It's finally warm out! I love this sunny weather and the warm rays on my skin. I pulled out this favorite Spring dress! Chambray, denim, tensel whatever you want to call it, it's definitely on trend. That being said, this chambray dress was a must purchase, since it was from Forever 21 I obviously didn't break the bank either. I decided to go for a vintage look with the popped collar and a nice patterned scarf to make this look slightly fancy. What are you all going to do to soak up the sun this weekend?

Midi dress and Kilts

This dress is one of my favs and I purchased it long before the midi length came back on trend. I't so comfortable, flowy, and versatile. I can easily dress this up or down, like today's post. This Spring you'll see me in a lot of dresses. I think they're the perfect compliment to warmer weather. Even my brother's groomsmen admitted that they enjoyed the "flow" when they wore kilts for the wedding. Haha. Seeing Aaron in a kilt that day really did it for me and the rest is history.

Cheers to skirts and dresses!

Living in Indulgence

Saturday was one of those totally indulgent (regret later) kind of days. I spent the day with my favorite and we had a delicious brunch at Delicia, they're basically our new Zest. I had the smoked salmon fritatta and ate it so quickly that I forget to snap a pic! Later we played pool at Bent Rail Brewery and to keep adding to the indulgence we went to Naked Tchopstix for our favorite appetizer and dinner at the Alley Cat Front Room. Phew, I'm exhausted and full just recapping that! Anyhow, my look for all these shenanigans was as follows.

Jump around

I had a wonderful weekend filled with friends and relaxation. This Indiana weather is really perfect for my super cute jumpsuit! I love how comfy and loose fitting it is. I love jumpsuits and rompers, they are a fantastic decade trend. The beauty of a trendy item is that you can find them all over in as many different styles as you can imagine. I found a couple cute options for you all, check it out in the post!

What's your favorite spring trend?

Watercolors

There's nothing quite like this beautiful transition into spring, I love that breath of fresh spring air. The warm rays revive all the poor souls that have endured a Midwestern winter. The only downside to this changing of seasons is transferring all of my spring clothes back into commission. I took the opportunity today to unpack my spring clothes and put away some of my winter items. It's been so fun to see all my favorite warmer pieces make their return to my closet. After losing inspiration with cold weather looks, I can only imagine my brain was lighting up like times square with new fun spring post ideas, with each item that I unpacked!

Pinspired: Casual transitions

After two very long weeks of being sick I am finally starting to feel better and rise to the ocassion of blogging in this beautiful new Spring weather! I'm sorry my posts have been rather sporadic, but I'm glad to be up and em'. Thank you for stopping by my little corner of fashion in Indy! This look is perfectly simple and cozy, when I saw it on Pinterest I fell in love! My two favorite things are style and well actually queso, but my third favorite is being comfortable and that is this outfit to a tee, but if I get all three of those things I'm truly one happy gal!

Aye aye Captain

I really pulled out the military inspiration today, between the camo and the military jacket, one might call my Private Benjamin! I wanted a comfy relaxed look to run some errands and be productive. These cozy camo pants are perfect for just that. I try not to get all dolled up for the grocery store, because after all, even grocery shopping cannot be improved by a good outfit. I truly don't like to wander the aisles of the grocery store and I dislike putting them all up afterwards even more, but it is nice to have an abundance of food, well for what seems like 2 days. TGIF!

Farm girl chic

I wouldn't refer to myself as a farm girl, simply because I do not have that work ethic, and I don't like to get dirty. I have mad respect for girls that can claim that title, so to channel their spirits, I tried to emulate a farm gal in today's look. Granted, I probably couldn't achieve any status as a farm hand, but it's super cute, so from a blogger's POV, I'm happy. I love this ruffle slip from Forever 21, it's so versatile and completely changes a look! Paired with my trusty Frye cowbow boots, a plaid button up, and you can't forget a jean jacket this look fits the bill, buffalo bill that is ;) Have a great Wednesday everyone!
