FriYAY!

I know you've seen this dress a few times now, but I just love it especially on a super hot day like today! I got to add a little flare to it with my new necklace from Le Tote. I finally put a little time into my look today with makeup and hair done. This seems to be a rare occurrence this days. I'm off to enjoy the day even with rain in the forecast my outlook is sunny!

Popping collars

Ps. It's finally warm out! I love this sunny weather and the warm rays on my skin. I pulled out this favorite Spring dress! Chambray, denim, tensel whatever you want to call it, it's definitely on trend. That being said, this chambray dress was a must purchase, since it was from Forever 21 I obviously didn't break the bank either. I decided to go for a vintage look with the popped collar and a nice patterned scarf to make this look slightly fancy. What are you all going to do to soak up the sun this weekend?

Simplicity

Gotta love a truly simple chic look. I love how comfortable this outfit is, the simplicity of a chambray top and skinny jeans makes for a great weekend look. I had a wonderful weekend spending time with my love, my friends, and my family! Free time really doesn't get much better than that, right? I had a simply wonderful time.

How was your weekend??

Doily or cardigan?

I've run into this problem before with items of clothing being able to double as a table cloth. I suppose I'm just all about fashion and utility. This adorable lace cover up was purchased at Nordstrom (pause for shock). I loved pairing it with these new Calvin Klein pumps, originally $120 and I got them for $40!! Talk about a steal. This color may be lacking in color, but it's definitely not lacking in texture.

Get the look!

Kate Bosworth is perfection in this simple chic look. I love that she is mixing a lot of elements from clog style booties all the way up to her aviators. This monochromatic beauty is an excellent look to emulate. I've gathered some fierce versions of these items that can help you "get the look" from splurge to mega steal! Check it out, and maybe soon I'll give this look a shot too!

Check me out!

Headed out for a fun filled day of brunch and birthday celebrations! For the afternoon, I opted for some comfy layers to stay warm. I love button ups, because of their versatility! I can easily wear this blue check button up under a sweater for work or I can dress it down for a day like today!

Have a wonderful Saturday!

Cargo cover-up

I simply love the button up shirt. It is so versatile and can be easily transformed from day to night. This look is super casual and neutral. Perfect for a day of Christmas shopping. Yes, I'm still not done getting gifts. Call it thrill seeking, but procrastination is truly a beautiful rush! I have all the gift ideas floating in my head, so...I'm practically done! Hope you all have been more on your game, but if not, I'll be at the Castleton mall in a sea of mad dash shoppers with a look of true fear and anxiety in our eyes!

Happy Shopping!

Let's Polka!

There are few patterns I love more than Polka Dots! It's a great way to channel your inner child and stay in fashion. I like to wear sweaters over a collar. It's a classy look and can be dressed up or down. Plus, in these temps it's nice to have an extra layer! Layering is a great way to mix and match your wardrobe, you can change a seemingly similar outfit into a totally different look!

How do you mix it up?
