Ps. It's finally warm out! I love this sunny weather and the warm rays on my skin. I pulled out this favorite Spring dress! Chambray, denim, tensel whatever you want to call it, it's definitely on trend. That being said, this chambray dress was a must purchase, since it was from Forever 21 I obviously didn't break the bank either. I decided to go for a vintage look with the popped collar and a nice patterned scarf to make this look slightly fancy. What are you all going to do to soak up the sun this weekend?

inVESTing in my style

I love mixing different types of styles together, i.e. business chic with casual comfort. I snagged this vest from a coworker for $5! Such a steal! I love it's versatility and the little bit of 'extra' it adds to an outfit. Pairing it with a classic Loft silk shirt, skinnies, and ankle booties makes it the perfect neutral look.

It's an epically beautiful day here in Indy, so I figured florals and a bright pink skirt was a must. This outfit is just more proof that my style is all over the place. I am all about wearing what makes you feel beautiful and comfortable in your own skin. I don't really subscribe to any kind of style, which leads to a girly look one day, hipster the next, and rounding out with street style. I find pieces that I love and make them work with what I have. Style is really just living, breathing art. Ah, thus end my blabbering. Have a great weekend!

Bow-tastic

As you all know, I love rain boots! Practicality and fashion can often be forged to create a trend that helps us all...hence rain boots! Why not stop ruining our sandals, sneakers, and suede shoes and opt for a rubber sole. The fashion industry caught on and here come the $150 pairs of rain boots. Although I do love my hunters, I'm cheating on them a bit today with this super cute pair of Dizzy short galoshes with a bow. They've been kind of hard to pair, so obviously I opted for all black. I love rainy days and boots, so rain boots are a marriage made in heaven for my wardrobe. If only I could snuggle on the couch all day. Have a great (not too soggy) day!

Rocking to the BEAT

Yes, this is another Beatles shirt. I love the Beatles and screen tees so why not marry the two! I love this bowler hat from Urban Outfitters and it feels very fitting or a Beatles inspired look. Hats are one of those fashion accessories that are hard to wear, at least for me, but I still try. I always wonder if I look "too much" with a hat, but in the end, who cares? I love accessories and making a simple outfit a little more daring and hats are great for that. My skinnies and Tom's wedges make this look simple, monochromatic, and super comfy. Hope you like it!

Back in black

Hello, friends and followers, I am back! I got a new job..woot woot! This exciting news led to my small break from blogging. In light of my return, I decided an all black outfit would be fitting. I love wearing bright colors and patterns in the spring and summer, but I can't fully neglect the goth section of my closet just because it's warm out. I love taking dressy pieces and dressing them down! This Lush dress is so easy to dress up or down and today I opted for a funky neutral look. I love the fedora for a statement piece and it's a great way to make an outfit look more casual. Well, for an uninteresting day so goes an uninteresting post. Hope you like the outfit!
