Jump around

I had a wonderful weekend filled with friends and relaxation. This Indiana weather is really perfect for my super cute jumpsuit! I love how comfy and loose fitting it is. I love jumpsuits and rompers, they are a fantastic decade trend. The beauty of a trendy item is that you can find them all over in as many different styles as you can imagine. I found a couple cute options for you all, check it out in the post!

What's your favorite spring trend?

Pinspired: Casual transitions

After two very long weeks of being sick I am finally starting to feel better and rise to the ocassion of blogging in this beautiful new Spring weather! I'm sorry my posts have been rather sporadic, but I'm glad to be up and em'. Thank you for stopping by my little corner of fashion in Indy! This look is perfectly simple and cozy, when I saw it on Pinterest I fell in love! My two favorite things are style and well actually queso, but my third favorite is being comfortable and that is this outfit to a tee, but if I get all three of those things I'm truly one happy gal!

Firmoo much?

I'm excited to show off my new fun glasses I received from Firmoo! I had such a great experience with this company. They had a ton of amazing options and the real kicker for me was that they had real pictures of bloggers and customers wearing the styles. It made my decision in frames much easier! I have always loved glasses, even though I don't technically need them. I think they're a fun accessory and can really change a look! Firmoo wanted me to be completely honest about the quality and the experience and I was honestly impressed! Great customer service, quick shipping, and very stylish glasses. Needless to say, you will see these babies again.

Happy New Year

Well, here it is...2015! I was so blessed to have a year filled with family, friends, and love. Although I am sad to say goodbye to such a great year, I'm equally as excited to embrace this new year! I have so much ahead of me and so much to be grateful for. This year will be all about finding myself. I will be 25 and intend to live it to the fullest. I want to try new things, learn as much as possible, take a class, try new kinds of fitness, continue to grow my blog, and find happiness in the small things. Look out 2015, I'm coming for ya!

I'm so fancy..

I had a delightful Christmas dinner with friends and family at Hollyhock Hill. Most people haven't experienced the amazingness that is Hollyhock fried chicken, well if you live in Indy, move your butt to 81st and College Ave! It sounds like a strange concept, since it's a sit down restaurant, but let me tell you! This restaurant is an exceptional experience in downhome cooking. It's a family style fried chicken meal with mashed potatoes, corn, green beans, and rolls with yummy homemade apple butter. It's all simple food, but prepared like you could never make it at home. Anyway, please excuse my food coma speaking...here's a cute simple outfit filled with CWonder goodies!

Check me out!

Headed out for a fun filled day of brunch and birthday celebrations! For the afternoon, I opted for some comfy layers to stay warm. I love button ups, because of their versatility! I can easily wear this blue check button up under a sweater for work or I can dress it down for a day like today!

Have a wonderful Saturday!

Escape from Alcatraz

I don't know why, but this skirt always reminds me of old prison suits! This pairing is fun and mixes textures, patterns, colors. I like this little crop sweater for layering. It adds a nice texture, a little warmth and coverage. Paired with the all black and white look is a great colorful floral print. It's nice to add a pop of color so the outfit isn't too drab. Yes, another half-top knot too! Gotta love it.

Chunky layers

As the weather gets chillier, layers become increasingly necessary. I love layering any time of the year, because it gives you the chance to mix and match colors, patterns, and textures, but during the fall and winter there's an added bonus of warmth! I love this look because of it's comfy oversized look and the mix and match of lavender, cargo, and suede. A quick top-knot and I'm all set for the day.

What's your favorite way to layer?
