I'm obsessing over this neon bag I got from my recent LeTote! The pictures do not do it justice on how bright it is, in the words of my friend hannah, "whoa, it hurts my eyes" haha. Sometimes fashion is pain, right? I will probably hold this item back and pretend like my account won't be charged, healthy?

Work Wear Wednesday: Highlighter Yellow

Yay for Wednesdays! I get a recharge on Wednesdays knowing that it's the middle of the week and there's only fun ahead. I'm having a blast coming up with some unique and fun looks for the Work Wear Wednesday and this beautiful weather doesn't hurt. I love this look for a couple different reasons. I love the funky color and pattern of the skirt, the pairing of yellow and the peach in the necklace, and lastly the style of sleeve on this shirt. This almost cap sleeve is trending right now and I just love it! It's very reminiscent of 70's style, which is just fine with me, because I love that era. I'd venture say that seventie's fashion is probably the most dominant era of inspiration for this years trends. What do you think?

Neon + Floral = Perfection

I feel like you all can tell when I've done a little Toggery haul, obviously I recently visited and found some amazing new pieces. My favorite so far of all my visits is this amazing neon flower print top from J-Crew! The neon is so bold and fun, but since it's dainty flowers, the top can be worn for many occasions. I figured for the Easter holiday a nice fun floral would be perfect. Today was my first day off all week, so Aaron and I are making a delicious brunch at home and watching Netflix. This outfit, delicious brunch, and quality time with Aaron and Penny is pretty much the perfect Sunday.

Work Wear Wednesday: Neon

Another day another dollar. If you were looking for a work motto for the day, there ya go!
I had a fun time getting ready this morning, because I found these amazing neon pants that have been hiding for almost a year in my Spring wardrobe, they are also one piece from the top 10 remix challenge I'm following, details below! I love the bright fun color and they are super comfortable, which is key when dressing for work. I needed to pair them with something a little more subtle, since I'm not trying to burn my co-worker's retinas. I opted for this adorable new top from the Loft. I love pairing black and white with a pop of color, it really makes for a treat for the eyes!

Firmoo much?

I'm excited to show off my new fun glasses I received from Firmoo! I had such a great experience with this company. They had a ton of amazing options and the real kicker for me was that they had real pictures of bloggers and customers wearing the styles. It made my decision in frames much easier! I have always loved glasses, even though I don't technically need them. I think they're a fun accessory and can really change a look! Firmoo wanted me to be completely honest about the quality and the experience and I was honestly impressed! Great customer service, quick shipping, and very stylish glasses. Needless to say, you will see these babies again.

Dots and tribal

I got to mix some really random prints today! These polka dot harem pants are super comfy and on point with the "mc hammer" reboot. I bought them quite some time ago at Nordstrom rack and have just now gotten around to wearing them. I paired them with a simple tank and a tribals scarf. The scarf acted, today, as an accessory, color coordinator, and a cover for the pen mark I permanently made on the tank.

Summer Ruffles

I love bright fun colors! I have a very bi-polar style, some days I wear all black and white and very simple, but other days I break out the bright colors and statement pieces. I don't like to fit into a "style box", gotta keep them guessing! I love this pink top from Ann Taylor. I got it in a really pretty green too! I tend to get multiple colors of items I really like. This top is great for a professional look and for a fun summer look. Pairing a pop of color with the classic white jeans makes for a perfect summery look. Well, I'm off to enjoy this beautiful day with my mom!

Fishtail braid and printed skirt

I have had such a perfect weekend! What a way to officially kick off the Summer. I spent Saturday all over the city. I got to go see Jersey Boys with my mom and it was excellent! It did not compare to the musical, but it was still a great movie!

I got to celebrate the graduation of my friend Hannah at her beautiful home with great friends. I am so excited for her and her amazing future as a special education teacher. 

Aaron and I made our monthly visit to Cooper's Hawk and had a delicious wine tasting followed by a few rolls of sushi at Naked Tchopstix. All in all, this was a fantastic weekend and today will top that off with a cookout for my grandpa. Happy summer everyone, looks like it'll be a good one.
