Floral and Pleats if you Please

The past few weeks have been packed with work, school (for Aaron), and family. My brother jetted off to Washington to be a Wildland Firefighter, Aaron is taking his very important qualification exam, and I'm getting ready for our Convention in New Orleans! I'm excited for all the things ahead including putting more time into the blog. Thanks all for following along on my life and style journey!

Woah..my eyes!

I'm obsessing over this neon bag I got from my recent LeTote! The pictures do not do it justice on how bright it is, in the words of my friend hannah, "whoa, it hurts my eyes" haha. Sometimes fashion is pain, right? I will probably hold this item back and pretend like my account won't be charged, healthy?

Me: "Hi, my name is Abby and I'm a shopahaulic"

Everyone: "Hi, Abby."

Chunky layers

As the weather gets chillier, layers become increasingly necessary. I love layering any time of the year, because it gives you the chance to mix and match colors, patterns, and textures, but during the fall and winter there's an added bonus of warmth! I love this look because of it's comfy oversized look and the mix and match of lavender, cargo, and suede. A quick top-knot and I'm all set for the day.

What's your favorite way to layer?

Casual LBD

Everyone has a little black dress stowed away in their closet. I have a few, because I love black! I love wearing a LBD for a formal evening or a nice date night, but the casual LBD look is just as fun and nice to have laying around. I dressed the look up with a floral scarf and some ankle booties with a different color to break up the solid black.

I love using my scarves as "jewelry" in the colder months. Fashion and function is a beautiful thing!
