Just romping around

I got to spend my day off hanging out with my mom and doing a little shopping. I always want to do a run by at Nordstrom knowing full well that I will find too many things I like!  I found this adorable Leith romper and I was obviously sold. I love the floral print and the flutter sleeves, they really make for a fancier feel. Aaron and I over indulged in a wonderful date night and I got to show off the new look!

TBT

I'm back! I took a nice long break after the wedding to relax and spend time with Aaron before he picked up his qualification exam. I'm back on track and back on a normal sleep pattern! Anywho, I figured a good TBT post would be of what I wore for Aaron and I's 2 year anniversary last week. I can't believe it's been two years, I'm still as enamored as I was in the beginning and even more in love with him after two amazing years.

I love eyelet

This beautiful midi length eyelet dress is yet another Toggery find. It's a super comfortable stunner and has removable straps too, so super versatile. I love the casual feel of eyelet, so I can wear this for a simple casual look or dress it up with some fun accessories like today! The fun floral style of this statement necklace is perfect for Spring and for brightening up a black dress. I hope everyone's week is off to a great start!

I had a wonderful weekend filled with friends and relaxation. This Indiana weather is really perfect for my super cute jumpsuit! I love how comfy and loose fitting it is. I love jumpsuits and rompers, they are a fantastic decade trend. The beauty of a trendy item is that you can find them all over in as many different styles as you can imagine. Beanie Style

It really doesn't get any better than some troopa boots and a classic beanie. I love getting the chance to rock a super cool look like this. This style is not my typical look, but I love going out of the box and staying on trend. There is the added bonus that it's freezing and wearing a hat is just plain necessary, but this fun oversized beanie keeps me hip (although saying hip does not). I paired this with a cute floral infinity scarf and picked up the blue of the hat. Keeping with the hipster vibe, this pair of troopa boots are an oldie, but a goodie! I got these in college and still get compliments every time I wear them. The greatest thing about this look is that I'm warm and comfortable!

Free as a bird..

By the grace of the work gods I was able to get the entire day off today! It worked out perfectly, because now I can join Aaron, Michael, and Krista at the Indiana MicroBrewers Festival! I'm so excited for some good beer, great friends, and fried food. Does it get any better than that? I love this Free People dress. It's so flowy and beautiful, the fabric is above and beyond all of my other dresses. Every now and then I can see the point of buying a nicer, more expensive brand and this is one. Free People has always lived up to the price with exceptional quality and trend setting styles. The neck on this dress is a low cut v-neck, so for coverage I add the scarf...and for an accessory. Well, I'm off to a fun filled day! Have a great one.
