TBT: What I Wore

In honor of this not so lovely Thursday, let's hop in the time machine and gun it to 2014. June 18th to be specific. It's funny to be able to look back and see exactly what I wore on certain days. This jumpsuit has made many encore appearances since this post and will undoubtedly make more. You've got to love a nice casual jumpsuit on a hot summer day. Plus, I'm feeling this hair color, maybe this trip down memory lane will spark some changes in the present.

What's a favorite past look of yours?

A Fancy Affair

It's ironic that today's look on the blog is this pink tulle skirt considering I took a ballet class yesterday. My co-workers and I each have to try a 'fitness' class that the other chooses. Up next...Ariel! You know, cirque de soleil style. I'm sure I'll be much less coordinated for that, but I'm definitely excited. Today's look is a bit silly, but I figured I've only got so many years left when I can wear a tulle skirt, so why not now!

Happy hump day!

Just romping around

I got to spend my day off hanging out with my mom and doing a little shopping. I always want to do a run by at Nordstrom knowing full well that I will find too many things I like!  I found this adorable Leith romper and I was obviously sold. I love the floral print and the flutter sleeves, they really make for a fancier feel. Aaron and I over indulged in a wonderful date night and I got to show off the new look!

Le Maxi Love

My super cute tribal maxi is another gem from LeTote. I love the tulip flare in the front and the V-neck detailing on top. This dress is the perfect pick for Spring and Summer because it's a lighter texture easy to pair with a lot of fun accessories and it's modest enough for all kinds of occasions!

TBT

I'm back! I took a nice long break after the wedding to relax and spend time with Aaron before he picked up his qualification exam. I'm back on track and back on a normal sleep pattern! Anywho, I figured a good TBT post would be of what I wore for Aaron and I's 2 year anniversary last week. I can't believe it's been two years, I'm still as enamored as I was in the beginning and even more in love with him after two amazing years.

Glad to be back!

Lavender + Patterns = Spring Chic

Happy Thursday everyone! I'm so excited for this upcoming weekend and following couple of weekends. In my future (in order) is my brother's 30th bday, farm trip, Mia and Zack coming to town, Claire's wedding, a trip to Purdue, my dad's birthday, and Aaron and I's anniversary! Whew, it's going to be a jam packed few weeks, but fun filled for sure! I went for a Spring chic look today with pastels and patterns. I like how the pastels "go" with the color scheme on the skirt pattern. This look paired perfectly with my gold Betsey Johnson sandals, because a pop of metallic never heart anyone!

Working hard to stay in style!

Since I have a 10 hour work shift ahead of me, I decided it would be nice to be super comfy for the first job! You all know I love these boyfriend jeans from AE, throw on a simple tank and scarf and voila! A comfy casual outfit. I love that style is not only reserved for "dressing up". I think that fashion is leaning to the comfier street style looks. Gotta love it!
