Walk of shame...

I'm sure the title intrigued you...I love this uber comfy shirt/dress from Gap. It reminds me of a baggy tee-shirt one might steal to sulk home on the ever classy walk of shame. In reality, it's really just a fun baggy shirt dress, but hey nothing wrong with a funny story to go along. It's hard to pair super casual items like this and still have a stylish look, so I thought this nice lightweight scarf would pair well and not take too much attention from the main element. There's truly no better shoe to go with a super cozy outfit like this than a classic chuck taylor! All in all, I love this easy breezy look and I'm thankful I'm wearing it with full intention instead of my previous scenario...

Casually yours..

With these rising and falling temps throughout the day it's nice to have a bunch of easy light layering pieces. I love this casual look from the sneaks to the loose fitting sweater. I remember in college this time of year, I would leave in sweats all bundled then change around lunch for the warm temps then throw on layers for the night time! It's a crazy season, but I love it, because after all it's warm relief from the bitter Indiana winters and I get to wear more than one outfit a day! Then again, I'm kind of a weirdo like that.

PJ chic

There is truly nothing better than being so comfy that your boyfriend asks if you're wearing pj's. Granted, I know that other people would look at this outfit and know that I'm, in fact, not wearing pj's, so it works out perfectly. This epically comfortable look is a combination of super cozy harem pants from H&M and my favorite handkerchief hemline top, per my usual thought process I topped it off with a cute scarf to make it look a little less like pj's. All in all, this look was just right for some errands about town!

Warm and cozy

Today's look is super comfy and still tres chic. I got this sweater dress in my most recent tote. It truly looks horrible on me by itself, so bad in fact that I was motivated to go to kickboxing after trying it on! With that said, that did not stop me from trying to make this cozy dress work. For me, if a dress looks kind of wonky or unflattering I try to find a good distraction, hence the vest. Plus, the army green goes so well with the burgundy and adds a fun texture variation and there you have it! An even more put together look and I am more comfortable. Granted, I am not a proponent of buying things that you aren't comfortable in or don't fit in the store, but like this dress it's rented or maybe a piece that used to look top notch, but you're body has changed a bit. It doesn't mean you can't ever wear it again, just tweak it!

Cozy and chic

I simply love this monochromatic look today. I got this acordian maxi skirt a few years ago, but it's still super on trend and pairing it with a warm and cozy cream sweater just seemed like the way to go with these chilly temps! All in all I was happy with the outfit, but I wanted to add a bit of glam, so naturally I threw on a chunky necklace. This gem was purchased for super cheap at Adorn boutique and spa. It's nice to find that one piece as a boutique, but I hate that I can't share it with you all since I don't know the brand or anything about where to get it! In the end this super warm, super chic look is perfect for an evening out with my main man in icy Indy.

Brrr...

Today was by far the most difficult day to take pictures since I started this blog! This wonderful city has it's pitfalls, the main one being it gets so f#$%ing cold! Schools were closed on account of temperatures, that's really cold! Since, I know you were all enjoying your Sunday's snuggled up thinking, 'what is Abby going to wear today' I didn't want to let you down! This outfit is the perfect combo of warm layers (not warm enough to be outside without a coat), fun textures and patters, and comfiness! Those elements make my favorite outfits.
