Florals running wild

Today's look is a great mix of patterns with this artistic style floral and the ever prevailing neutral print..leopard! I love this sweater! It was my most recent Le Tote item and I am having trouble sending it back, but tis life! When I saw this sweater I had a ton of different ways to style it pop in my head. I loved pairing it with this bold leopard print. With all of these bold patterns it's surprising how neutral this look is, which makes it super easy to wear for most occasions. Well, I'm off to my office Christmas party! Little hint...my outfit has reindeer on it. As I leave you with that thought, check out my blog this week to see that look!

Black and white, and red all over!

What's black and white and "red" all over! Me! This outfit is super fun with a pop of red in the lining of the jacket. I have been seeing a lot of fellow bloggers rocking the white jeans this fall/winter and I'm loving it! Although, there are rules when it comes to fashion, in the end isn't it all about breaking them? True style is taking the rules and throwing them out the window and making your look perfect for you! Plus, even fashion rules ebb and flow!!

Here's a few that I like to break or they're outdated:
1. Don't wear black AND brown/navy
2. No white after labor day
3. Your bag should always match your shoes
4. Your socks must not show when wearing ankle shoes (now very trendy)
5. No mixing gold and silver jewelry

How do you BREAK the rules?

Plaits and pullovers

I'm not sure why I am in the mood to be British today, but c'est la vie (oh lord, now I'm French)! I got this amazingly comfortable and stylish sweater top from Nordstrom the other day! I'm sure it won't shock anyone that it is Free People, because it's adorable. I love this look, because it's super cozy and perfect for a day of running errands. This waffle knit is light, yet perfect for layering under a coat. It's also versatile and will undoubtedly show up on the blog again!

Ho.ho.ho

As promised I've come up with another Holiday Party look! Sometimes the party starts right after work, thus you can't get too dolled up, since most will be in their work clothes. Hopefully you all saw my look from yesterday, which is actually the exact same outfit! All I did was take off the button-up and throw on a festive green blazer. I've got all the holiday colors covered and still appropriate for a work function. It takes a few moments of planning, but you can still wow at your holiday party when coming straight from work!

What are you wearing for your holiday party?
