Pinspired: Screen Sweatshirt

It' a snowy day here in Indy! To keep warm in this seemingly neverending winter, I wore my coziest sweatshirt. This sweatshirt still has that perfectly fuzzy new sweatshirt feel, it's something to be revered until it's been washed too many times. Anyone else know this feeling? The Pinspired look is so cute, I love that I can switch up the style of the sweatshirt, throw on some booties, and tights and still achieve this trendy look.  I am such a fan of the screen tee/sweatshirt, people have really started to glam up the screen tee and wear it for professional looks, going out, and generally fancy affairs. It's no longer the jeans and tee look, although that is still definitely a fun comfortable look! Thanks for stopping by on your Sunday, have fun out there you little snow bunnies!

i'm IN love...

 I think my love for Indy is pretty apparent! It's a special place to me and I will always consider myself a hoosier because this is truly my home. I was thrilled to find this adorable tee at Lucky B Boutique in Broad Ripple. This brand is United State of Indiana and it is full of fun Indy based styles. Any fellow hoosiers out there? This would be a great gift ;) for the holidays. 

I love pairing screen tees with blazers to give it that fancy look. Printed tees can easily err to the side of pj's, but pairing them with the right items can really transform the look.

Backstreets Back...Alright!

There are times that you just need to relive your childhood to get some perspective. Claire and I got to do just that at the Backstreet Boys concert! I had such a great time, met some really fun girls, and got to get down to the best of the bboys! Unfortunately, Brian did not find me in the lawn and declare his undying love, but I still got to drool over him on the jumbo-tron. 

On top of the amazing concert, I finally got my hair done! Lindsey gave me the perfect new look. I'm a sucker for changing my hair and this was exactly the change I needed. The ombre look might be on the fall, but I still love it.

Now I'm off to a wedding...happy weekend!

I Love Nerds!

I can't get enough of these beautiful days! Indiana weather can be brutal, but it can bear the most incredible spring and fall days.

Today, I opted for a pattern mix with a fun print and screen tee. I have had this top since high school and I still love it so much. The patterned skirt is a great Savvy find from last year. I love the pairing because it is fun, different, and screams Spring!

The cherry on top of this outfit are my chucks! I am totally a comfort girl. Most of the fashion bloggers I follow wear heels every day and when I started this blog I really wanted to be that girl, but alas, I love flats and they can still be very fashionable. I opted for the chucks for an overall nerdy chic look!
